(Inspired by The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost)
Two slices sat on a yellow plate
And sorry I could not not eat twain
And be one human, quickly I ate
And gazed longingly at two grease stains
To where the grease glimmered in the light;
Then thought of the grease within my veins,
Moving and sticking and moving more
That unhealthy kingdom always reigns
Forever sticking within my core,
Cholesterol never a true friend.
Pizza forever in my belly,
Cholesterol always in my heart
Next time I should go to a deli!
Always healthy foods at the old mart,
A cholesterol heart never lives.
I shall be eating this with a sigh,
Leafy greens, ever more leafy greens,
Two diets diverged on a plate, I–
I ate the one to my body less mean,
I ate the pizza with leafy greens!
