As dawn breaks,
news they say I need to know.
My home screen, unread count,
making me ashamed, full of doubt,
when I don’t heed what’s in my feed.
The NY Times feeling kind and,
bringing me my morning briefing?
Like I’m some kinda CEO.
Life can’t be a board meeting,
I’m sitting here bored reading,
what Facebook says I.
Want to know,
have to know,
need to know.
